D’USSÉ PALOOZA
Annual culture-driven day party, D’USSÉ Palooza, turned New York City up at the Hammerstein Ballroom over the weekend with a special guest appearance from distinguished producer and songwriter, Swizz Beatz.
D’USSÉ Palooza, formerly known as Henny Palooza, has sold out venues across the country becoming one of the most anticipated parties of the year. For only $50, attendees enjoy a five hour open bar with the hottest records spun by DJs Austin Millz, Genius in HD, Mick and Yo Showtime. The party hosts, Christylezz and LowKey, keep the crowd hype alongside surprise performances from Cam'ron, Nipsey Hussle, Wale, YG and more.
It was announced in January that the brand, Henny Palooza, would be replaced as the result of the new partnership with D’USSÉ VSOP Cognac and Roc Nation. The palooza began as a house party in Harlem by a self-made group of friends. Fast forward to 50 shows and five years later, the success of the party rocketed, traveling to megacities like Los Angeles, Atlanta, Houston and DC. However, the team still lacked an actual endorsement from the Hennessy brand.
Now that the creative minds behind the palooza have linked with D’USSÉ, the support has elevated with the alignment of black excellence and supporting black businesses. Or in other words, the party is even bigger and blacker than before. D’USSÉ Palooza in New York was a sold out event with over 4,000 people in attendance.
